J&M Milliken continue superb run of Mid-Antrim results

Mid Antrim Combine birds were back in Fermoy for the 5th race of the old bird season, liberation was delayed until Sunday.

Winning birds were taking under 5 hours but many did not make it on the day.

Rasharkin and J & M Milliken in particular were best again, they timed a yearling hen on total widowhood at 19.27hrs to record velocity 1323 for the 208 miles.

The breeding was one of their long distance Dutch stock, Sjaak Buwalda remember that name.
