Lissan notes

WELL done to Patricia O’Connor who won £50.00 in this week’s lotto on three numbers. No one had four numbers. Numbers drawn were 1, 4, 5 & 17.

Next week the jackpot is £1,500.00. Lotto tickets are available from committee members and can be purchased at Lissan Go filling Station. The Monthly Draw will recommence in April. For further details make contact with Veronica Murray. The lotto and monthly draw is very important to the club and we would encourage continued support.

Lissan Seniors were defeated in the second game of the league by Newbridge on Sunday. Final score was 2:09 Newbridge, Lissan 0:10. The reserves were also defeated. Final score in that game was Newbridge 2:07, Lissan 1:3.

Lissan now face Ballymaguigan next Sunday 29th April. The reserve game against Ballymaguigan will commence at 2pm and the Senior game at 3:30pm.

Lisaan U16s play Desertmatin at Lissan at 6:45 on Thursday 26th April.

Irish dancing and ceili dancing continues in the clubrooms on Tuesday evenings.Yoga classes take place in the clubrooms on a Wednesday night at 7:15pm. Classes are £5.00 per class and commence at 7:15pm. There is one session left. When the Yoga programme is completed Zumba classes will take its place.

Under 12s training takes place Monday nights at the pitch. On Tuesdays the U14s will be training from 6:30-7:30pm. Under 16s will train on Wednesdays at 7pm. The Minor Ladies will train on a Thursday 6-7pm. There is underage training for primary school girls and boys on Friday evenings 6-7pm. New members are always welcome also.

Club Lissan is going well and the club wishes to thank everyone for the much needed support towards the club’s future development. There will be a quiz in McCrorys on Saturday night 28th April as a club fundraiser. Commences at 8:30pm.
