Local firm backcharity event

Alfred Briggs (Alwood) Ltd is sponsoring their Invitation Inter-Club Charity Challenge Competition for the Alwood Shield in association with Lurgan Bowling Club from July 29 with the final being played on Friday, August 26.

The local company is staging the popular competition in aid of Meningitis Now so it is hoped clubs will support it enthusiastically as they have done in the past.

Depending on the number of teams expressing interest the format will be the same as it was last season. Invitations and details are being forwarded shortly to clubs.
