Local ladies put on their running shoes at Runher
Emma Vaun, Lyndsay Mairs, Susan McQuillan, Joanne Bassett, Lisa Pearson and Sharon Bridge from Lisburn were joined by Anna Clugston and Tara Thompson from Hillsborough at the annual run.
The 10K race was won by Cathy McCourt in a time of 36:21 to set a new course record with second place achieved by Maeve Lavery in 36:58. Jodi Smith took first place in the new 5K event which started at Rockport School and also finished at Crawfordsburn Country Park.

Hide AdDelighted with this year’s event, Runher race director Michael Jenkins from Pure Running congratulated all those who took part.
“Once again huge numbers of ladies turned out at Seapark, Holywood for Runher’s now annual coastal event,” she said. “We were also very pleased with our new 5K event which proved very popular.
