Melissa is victorious as the Whan family make their return to golf

The 14 hole competition held by Banbridge Ladies was closely contested by mother and daughter duo, Diana and Melissa with Melissa being victorious on this occasion.

As the clocks had not changed two of the ladies played the 14th hole in the dark.

Well done Louise Ewart and Fionnuala Crossey your commitment is commendable.

Easter proved to be a quiet time for the ladies with only three ladies playing the Easter Monday 18 hole sweep.

The winner was Jane Doyle with 37 pts.

Tuesday March 29th was the first 18 hole Australian spoons greensome qualifier competition. The successful duo were Ann Blevins and Yvonne Galloway with an impressive 42 pts.

This team will go on to play the next round of The Austrailan spoons in Portadown golf club in July this year.

The club wish them every success.

The ladies will have a busy season ahead as the golfing season gets into full swing.
