Mitchell celebrates his silver medal success at European competition
Larne’s Jordan Mitchell, along with Jonathan Bull and Jake Burn, represented Great Britain at the recent European Outdoor Youth Championships in Slovenia, winning the Junior Men’s Compound Team Silver medal.
After winning a tense semi-final match against Russia in Ljubljana, they were beaten to the gold medal by a Swedish team who were in exemplary form.
Simon Scott, Compound Youth Coach of Archery GB, said: “Jordan, Jonathan and Jake really showed their individual shooting strengths during the tournament. They have proved themselves to be some of the best archers in their age group in Europe and we hope that they can continue their success on the world stage too.”
