BIKES: Armoy Road Races gets ‘Green Light’ for TV coverage

THE Armoy Motorcycling Road Racing Club has announced an agreement with Greenlight Television to produce TV coverage of the Armoy Road Races.

Greenlight will produce two 1-hour programmes to be shown on channels around the world including Eurosport, Fox Sports Australia and Speed Channel in the USA. Coverage in the UK will also include Sky Sports in the Max Power programme and Channel 5 in Motorsport Mundial.

Bill Kennedy, Clerk of the Course at the Club said; “We are delighted to have a new contract in place which will not only give fans of road racing a great opportunity to see more of the race, but will also allow coverage of the RiverRidge Recycling ‘Race of the Legends’ to be broadcast to a wider audience than in previous years.

“This wouldn’t have been possible without help from the Northern Ireland Tourist Board, so a big thank you has to go to them.”
