Coates joins Moto Breakers Racing Team for 2014 season

The 25-year-old began his racing career in 2004 at the age of 15, and since then has raced all over Europe at various championships.

For the past couple of seasons he has concentrated his efforts on the British championship, riding in the ultra-competitive supersport class. After a difficult and injury-hit 2013, he is looking forward to his move into the superstock 1000 series.

“I’m really looking forward to this season and can’t wait to get started riding the bike and working with the team. It will be a change for me racing in the Superstock 1000 class after a difficult year last season with injury,” he said.

“But I’m fit now and motivated 100 per cent on doing a good job for the team and enjoying my racing again. A big thank you to Shaun and the team for making it happen.”

“With multiple British Championship race wins, along with several hard-fought podium places and lap records during his career, we are looking forward to working with Nikki in 2014 racing on the Moto-Breakers’ Kawasaki ZX10-R,” said Rose.

“Preparations are well in hand for the season. The bikes are prepared and ready to race and we are currently planning our pre-season testing.”
