Disappointment for Coates at Aragon races
Ballyrobert rider Nikki Coates didn’t have the day he expected at Aragon in the European Moto 2 Championship for Team Stratos last weekend.
“Unfortunately [the] races at Aragon didn’t go to plan,” he said. “We had big problems with the bike literally boiling in the heat.
“I was in a group battling for 13th and 12th in race one and two but struggled to pass because was the bike was losing too much power and time. I ended up 17th and 16th. Hopefully we should be okay for the rest of the year.”
