McCammond scores points in MX2

He had a disappointing qualifying ending up 28th and in his first race finished 17th.

In race two he was lying 15th and in the points before the bike caused problems with two laps remaining.

He had to use his practice bike in race three and he was on the pace from the start holding a top 10 position before dropping to 14th by the flag.

“The first two races were disappointing but I was well pleased with race three. My second bike was going well and I was feeling good in the race but the pain in my arm got bad in the closing stages (the result of a pre-race practice accident) and I had to settle for 14th and some points. I enjoyed the day and I am now going to compete in the last two rounds of the series,” he said.
