Netball success for Cookstown High

Two Year 8 Netball Squads from Cookstown High School attended the Year 8 Cross Community Netball Tournament on Wednesday at the Torrent Centre in Donaghmore.

Seven teams were involved in competition. All teams had to play in a round robin in which Cookstown A team finished top of the table with Cookstown B in second position.

This meant that both Cookstown teams had to play each other in the final. After an extremely tough and exciting match, Cookstown B squad emerged eventual winners beating the ‘A’s 3-1.
