Under the coaching guidance of Bridget Cleland and captain Susie Martin the new squad took to the field and dominated for most of the 90 minutes of the game with Emma Lynch, Nikki Parke and Susie Martin all getting their names on the score sheet in a 3-0 win.

Sammy-Jo Greer playing her last match for a while for the Toon only had one crucial save to make.

With this their first game now under their belt Money travel to UUJ on Wednesday to play Victorians in their next Winemark game and the team with be joined with Jenna Holmes who played with Randalstown last season between the sticks Jenna played with Sammy-Jo last season in the Ulster and Irish squad last season, so she comes with good experience.

The team will also be joined again by Katie Mullan who is back from a well deserved break after a full summer schedule of hockey all summer.
