Newbuildings Run and Walk 2014

Newbuildings Utd Football Club and Foyle Hospice will hold a 5k Run 3k Walk this Saturday, September 6.

It is open to all and the entry fee for runners £8 and walkers, £4.

Colin Campbell, organiser thanked Noel McMonagle and Scott Galibraith organisers of Walled City Marathon for their help in the preparing the race.

It is the first time the Run and Walk has been staged and it is hoped it will be an annual event.

Noel McMonagle is delighted that the Football Club have chosen the Foyle Hospice as the charity to benefit from the event.

Registration is at 9.45am in Newbuildings Community Centre. The race starts at 11am.

There will be some traffic diversions in place for approx 45mins to 1hour.
