Looking back... Archer takes gold at Paralympic Games

A Newtownabbey school teacher won a gold medal at the Paralympic Games in August 1965.

According to a report in the East Antrim Times, mother-of-two Pat Vizard triumphed in archery at the international competition at Stoke Mandeville in Buckinghamshire.
