LOTTO numbers for week commencing 26th September were 11, 13, 17, 24. At the Draw in McLernons Bar, four people matched three numbers: Laura McGurk (Keenaghan), Ciaran McGurk (Gortreagh), P.J. Hayden (Thornhill Road), Arann Gates (Keenaghan). Each received £25.00.

Award Two Coaching Courses- The Ulster Council are running a number of Award Two Coaching Courses in the coming weeks. Any coaches interested in attending should contact Anne Daly (07894642983).

A Gaelic Start Workshop for coaches and parents of U8s will take place in Galbally Community Centre on Tuesday night 4th October at 7.30pm. All welcome to attend.

The U10s took part in a great tournament in Newbridge (Co. Derry) on Saturday last. They defeated Newbridge, Rasharkin and Kilrea in their group but lost to Bellaghy after extra time. The team were outstanding in all their games. The management of Eamon Daly and Colm Mackle thank all the boys for their effort throughout the year and also the parents for their help and support.

The 10k Sponsored Cycle which was due to take place on October 15th has been postponed until later in the month. Entry fee will be Adults £10 and Children £5. The cycle will start at the pitch and all children taking part must wear a cycle helmet.

Youth members (aged 9-16) who raise a minimum of £15 will be taken on a trip to Lisburn Leisureplex during the Halloween break. There is also a prize of an Ireland International Rules jersey for the top fundraiser and two prizes of sports vouchers for the 2nd and 3rd top fundraiser. Sponsorship cards are available from Ciaran Gourley. Details of the date of the cycle to follow.

This years Annual General Meeting will take place on Wednesday 7th December.

Deepest sympathy is extended to the McGurk family circle on the recent death of Kieran McGurk (Derrytrasna, Co. Armagh). May he Rest in Peace.
