Scott Jess chasing Irish title

Scott Jess will be chasing the Irish Junior Singles Title when he contests the semi-final today (Friday).

The Lisnagarvey bowler faces A. O’Keefe, St James’ Gate in the last four test and, if successful, will play either R. Bell, Mossley or D. O’Kane, Letterkenny in the final tomorrow (Saturday).

Jess won the NIBA Junior Singles at the start of this month to qualify for the National finals.

The winner at the Irish finals will compete in the British Championships next year. So Scott has all to play for and we wish him good luck in the finals.

Further good news for Lisnagarvey when they picked up £100 for gaining runners-up spot in Section 1 at the Alwood Shield.
