Sean McLean on the winner’s board again at Ballycastle Golf Club

Sean Mc Lean’s name appearing at the top of the winner’s board-again and after the Midweek Open Stableford on Wednesday 1st April was certainly no April Fool!

Following on from his success the previous weekend his 37 points was sufficient to claim top spot in what at times were unpleasant conditions. Liam Gallagher finished in second place with a score of 36 point but it was at the expense of the winner’s brother, Liam who also had 36 points.

The Easter programme got off the ground with a Ladies’ & Gents’ Open Stableford on Good Friday. Gerard Norwood playing off 15 produced a score of 40 points and this was sufficient to claim first place. In second place on 38 points was Paul Mc Kay. He edged out Edenmore club mate Ken Beeton by a margin of one point. Ken beat John Michael and Philip Michael on countback as both of them had also 37 points.
