Seapark Atheltic Club trio enjoy Roe Valley trail race

Three athletes from Seapark Athletic Club set off for Limavady on Saturday to take part in Springwell Running Club’s 8 km trail race in Roe Valley Country Park.

Bobbie Irvine completed the course in an impressive time of 33.26. He was followed by Mark Welsh 37.40 and Alison Welsh 47.48.

Neill Harper, meanwhile, travelled to County Monaghan to take part in Born 2 Run’s 10 kilometre forest race in picturesque Rossmore Park. Neill achieved a time of 58.48 over this difficult course.

Two Seapark AC athletes achieved personal bests at the local Carrickfergus Parkrun on Saturday morning. Well done to Richard Hetherington with a time of 20.27 and Philippa Bell with a time of 30.03.
