Second Sunday sweep success of the season for Mel

In last week's sweep competitions, Mel Hamill and Dennis Lockhart were the big winners.

Mel Hamill joins Alex Clarke and Kieran McGreevey as the only two-time winners of the Sunday Sweep this year.

Who is going to be the first player to get to three wins?

Jim Carvill pulled off the shot of the day at the eighth hole. His tee shot finished a few feet from the hole and he rolled in the putt for the only two of the day. He was richly rewarded.

1st- Mel Hamill (16) Nett 30

2nd- Brian Knox (18) Nett 32

3rd- Kieran McGreevey (22) Nett 32

THURSDAY 2ND JUNE

Bill McCandless had to play the 14 holes of this sweep in two under par gross in order to keep up with Dennis Lockhart. They finished level and Dennis won on countback.

1st- Dennis Lockhart (15) 34 points

2nd- Bill McCandless (4) 34 points
