Seven Towers members have ‘belt’-er of a time

Children and adults from Seven Towers LC Karate Club have won higher level belts at a grading belt examination held last Saturday.

Club Coaches attending on the day were Keith Millar 3rd Dan, Alan Logan 2nd Dan, Karen Agnew 1st Dan, Laura Burns 1st Dan, Rebecca Burns 1st Dan and Chujo Karate Association Chief coach Sensei Dan Redmond 7th Dan.

Dan Redmond said he was both pleased and impressed with his club members’ success and said their dedicated hard work had paid off.

The club meets each Wednesday in The Minor Hall of Seven Towers Leisure Centre and new members are always welcome.

Beginner classes are available from the age of five years. There is no maximum age.

To have a try out just arrive at the club on any Wednesday.

No special clothes are needed to try out or begin classes. A tracksuit or loose fitting trousers and a t/shirt will suffice.
