Springwell launch the Purple Ladies 5K

The London 2012 Olympics and Paralympic Games produced outstanding performances from our female athletes and raised the profile of female sport.

As a result, Springwell Running Club would like to promote female health and fitness by introducing the Purple Ladies 5K. The run will take place on Wednesday 15th May at 7.30pm from the Joey Dunlop Leisure Centre, Ballymoney. This ladies only event is open to ladies over 14 years old.

The route will go through Riverside Park and incorporate the new foot bridge at the Railway Station and organisers would like to thank Translink for their support in this venture.
