Week 10 of the Larne Pool league, sponsored by the No. 1 Club, saw no change at the top with the three main title contenders all enjoying victories.

League leaders Thatch were convincing winners against St Comgall’s on a 13-2 scoreline. Gerry McCorry, Johnny Nelson and Bill McIlroy Senior landed hat-tricks.

No. 1 Club laboured to a 9-6 home win against a tricky Station Bar side. Ellis Martin pocketed an all-important hat-trick, while third placed Saints won 9-6 at the Gers with Shaun McAlister victorious in three.

Ibrox got back to winning ways with a hard-fought 9-7 success at the ever-improving Q Club.

Northern Ireland Masters ‘A’ team man Dessie Cooper won four from four overall. Q Club’s captain, Martin Stubbs, also notched a hat trick.

The No. 1 Reds kept up their fine form with a 9-6 home win against the Feathers, Gareth McIlroy and William Magill weighing in with trebles.

Ruby’s Rockets remian on a roll following their 11-4 win against basement boys BSQ Rangers. Thatch Rockets defeated young guns No.1 Blues on a 9-6 scoreline.
