Mick Millar took both legs against Vincey Culbert Sr but Dave McCusker extended the lead as he hit a 16 dart leg to beat Gerard Crewe 2-0. Adrian Hutchinson won the last leg against Vincey Culbert Jr but that was to be the last leg for Celtic as the INF took the last six legs. Seamy Tallon beat Andy McConnon 2-0 and Paddy Magill beat Noel Greenan 2-0.

Eire Og 2-6 Drumgor

With both teams level on points it was always going to be a tight game and two undefeated players clashed as Clive Hanna came up against Eire Og’s Sam Frazer. As expected it went right to the wire with Sam taking his chance to put his team one up. Drumgor took the next four games with Marty Craig ending Paul Callaghan’s three game win streak with a 2-0 win. George Chambers had a 2-0 win over Micky Campbell.

Stables 7-1 Clann Eireann

Clann Eireann left Stables empty handed losing by 7 games to 1 to the hosts. The visitors won their only game of the night in the very match as Nathan McCabe had a 125 and 2x100’s as well as a 19 dart leg on way to beating Hugh Campbell 2-0. The match wasn’t as one sided as the scoreline suggests as four out of the next five matches all went to the deciding legs.

Joe Toman hit a 120 and 6x100’s and a 16 dart leg as he won 2-1 against Chris Magee. A 140 and 3x100’s by Dermy McStay helped him beat Kevin OLoan 2-1. The third match went to the deciding leg but a 180 by Dee McConville saw off Mark Brady. Peter Morris had 2x140’s as he defeated Ciaran Magee before Shane Tallon won the deciding leg over Mark Magee to secure the victory.

On Saturday the Craigavon District Darts league’s Inter Area county team Area 11 had a fantastic 10-2 win over Area 5 Lisburn with Adrian Hutchinson, Dee Blaney, Mark McLernon, Seamy Tallon, John Cinnamond, Keith Beale, Terry Morrow, Micky Campbell, Noel Dunwoodie and Shane Lennon all being successful.
