What shall we do with the Causeway Shantymen? Put them on stage, of course!
and on Freeview 262 or Freely 565
The Causeway Shantymen are renowned for bringing their shanties, sea-songs, and sense of fun to the stage and have done so successfully across the length and breadth of Ireland.
Residing on the Causeway Coast, these sea dogs usually have crowds stompin’, howlin’ and ringing bells by the second shanty.

Hide AdThe sea dogs sailed into the summer of 2024 with a list of events on their schedule and have left successful festival performances at Stendhal, Rosses Point Wild Atlantic Shanty and Foyle Maritime in their wake.
Now they are taking to the stage of Portrush Town Hall on Saturday, October 5 at 4pm, as part of the Swell Festival.
Earlier that day there will be a Sea Shanty Writing workshop in the Town Hall where you can join songwriter and musician Paul Connolly to write your own shanty alongside the Causeway Shantymen!
Paul Connolly (The Woodburning Savages & Nerve Centre) will lead participants in exploring tales of wonder and derring-do from the North Coast's salty, rum-soaked and oft-times romantic nautical past.
