On Wednesday, October 7 at 11am, there’s a special, abridged production of The Merchant of Venice, for colleges and schools.
Brilliant singer/songwriter Matt Woosey steps on stage the following night at 8pm.
Woosey’s refreshing song writing and playing style has acoustic, roots-based music at its heart but is not limited to a particular genre.
His self-penned songs are conveyed with an accomplished vocal delivery which has gained him praise from sources such as Paul Jones (BBC2), Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music) and a variety of respected publications in the UK and around the globe.
Wildest Dreams is Matt’s most recent studio album and contains a certain number of blues songs although the overall spectrum of his song writing is broader and more mature than before.
On Friday at 8pm the Riverside presents The Tain, an uproariously funny reworking of Irish myths and legends, performed by Belfast Theatre group Commedia of Errors on the main stage
Finally on Saturday why not enjoy a great tribute night to Rod Stewart and Tina Turner in a show with band and backing singers, Rod and a Touch of Tina.
