Forestside Cookery School celebrates 10 years of cooking, community, and resilience

Forestside Cookery School is celebrating its 10th anniversary, marking a decade of inspiring people to cook, bringing friends and families together, and creating memorable experiences through food.

From its beginnings ten years ago, Forestside Cookery School has grown into a much-loved destination for cookery classes, private events and celebrations.

Over the years, it has welcomed thousands of people through its doors, from complete beginners and enthusiastic home cooks to groups looking for a unique and enjoyable experience.

The past decade has also brought its share of challenges. Like businesses everywhere, Forestside Cookery School had to navigate the unprecedented disruption of the Covid-19 pandemic, adapting to restrictions and uncertainty while working hard to keep the business moving forward.

Alongside the challenges faced by the business, there has also been a deeply personal journey.

The school has continued through its founder/Chef Stephen Jeffers own cancer journey, demonstrating remarkable resilience and determination while maintaining the passion and commitment that have been at the heart of the business since day one.

Today, the cookery school continues to thrive, offering a wide range of hands-on cookery classes as well as private events, celebrations and corporate experiences.

Its success has been built not only on great food and cooking, but on creating an atmosphere where people can relax, have fun, learn something new and enjoy time together.
