Ulster Hospital team step up for charity in iconic London race
Staff from the South Eastern Trust have raised over £3,000 for several charities after taking part in the iconic London Landmarks Half Marathon.
The Team laced up their running shoes to tackle the 13.1-mile course, taking in some of the capital’s most famous historical sights.
Deputy Chief Executive, Wendy Thompson, thanked family, friends and colleagues for contributing to those who took part chosen charities.
Wendy said: “Collectively we ran for a range of charities including Tommy’s Baby Charity, Cancer Research, Marie Curie and the Anthony Nolan charity that works in the areas of Leukaemia and stem cell transplantation.

“It was such a great atmosphere on the day, it was like a street party with crowds cheering us on along the route.
"We were also lucky that the weather held, which certainly helped our Northern Irish contingent.
“We want to thank everyone who contributed and donated to the charities we supported, there are already plans to enter in 2027!”
