Glenn Smart and Jack Russell Dexter, aka ‘Shy Ted’ to give him his official Kennel Club name, will compete in the Dog Agility section.

A fast and exhilarating sport for both competitors and spectators, it involves a dog being navigated by their handlers against the clock around a complex sequence of up to 20 obstacles, including see-saws, tunnels and jumps.

Glenn and Dexter, members of Glandore Dog Training Club, are one of only 18 pairs to have qualified across the UK to compete at this level. Not only did they qualify once during the qualifying competitions of 2016, but twice, making them a force to be reckoned with!

The pair have been training hard for many years to get to this level and Glenn is very excited to compete with Dexter at what is known to be the world’s largest dog show.
