Cookstown road rage suspect released on bail
A 37-year-old man arrested in connection with a road rage incident in Cookstown on Saturday (August 16) has been released on bail pending further enquiries.
On Tuesday evening Superintendent Alwyin Barton, confirmed that police arrested a man in connection with the assault on the driver of a silver Vauxhall Vectra in Orritor Street, Cookstown
It was reported that the driver of a silver Vauxhall Vectra, had been involved in a verbal altercation with the driver of a black Audi A4 in Coagh Street.
Both drivers then exited their vehicles in Orritor Street and the driver of the Audi is believed to have punched the victim causing him to lose consciousness and subsequently fit.
