Ballymena man is charged with assaulting female and stealing her phone

He allegedly committed offences on May 14 this year.

William Dunlop (43), of no fixed abode in Ballymena, appeared at the town’s Magistrates Court on Thursday (June 11) via video link from prison.

No details about the background to the charges were given to the court.

At Ballymena Magistrates Court on Thursday, the defendant was further remanded in custody and the case was adjourned to Thursday, July 9.
