Man with Bushmills address appears at court charged with attempting to have 'sexual communication' with a child
A 61-year-old man with a Bushmills address has appeared at court accused of attempting to have a 'sexual communication' with a child.
The defendant is charged in relation to between September and October 13 this year.
Paul McKillop, of Hazeldene Drive in Bushmills, appeared at Ballymena Magistrates' Court via video link from a police station on Thursday.
No details about the background to the charge were outlined to the court.

However, the court appearance follows a video posted on social media which shows a man at a door talking to a number of people. The social media page says they are an 'online child protection team'.
The accused was given £400 bail to an address to be approved by police and he must not enter Bushmills; must not be in contact with anyone aged under 18; or be in possession of any internet-enabled device.
The case was adjourned to Coleraine Magistrates' Court in November.
