Police treating Ballyclare incident as a ‘racially motivated hate crime’

Police are investigating a report of criminal damage caused to a business premises in The Square in Ballyclare at the weekend.

It was reported, at around 8pm on Saturday (November 28), that three windows at the premises had been smashed.

Inspector Graham said: “Enquiries are continuing into this incident, which is being treated as a racially motivated hate crime at this time.

“I am appealing to anyone who may have been in the area and saw any suspicious activity to call us on 101, and quote reference number 1700 of 28/11/20.
