Emmet Rock’s ‘Irsirra’ chair on show now
LONDONDERRY artists have partnered with ten local businesses to re-design reclaimed chairs as part of UK City of Culture 2013.
The ‘Legenderry Chairs’ project runs until Saturday November 2 in the Craft Village. It is open daily from 11am to 6pm.
The works will be housed in each artist’s partner businesses once the exhibition is over.
It’s the brainchild of ReFound, an artists network aimed at reclaiming discarded objects.
