Carrickfergus roadworks this week
Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Carrickfergus area this week.
Trooperslane Road, Carrickfergus
There will be a road closure from Upper Road to Old Shore Road from 7:00am until 12:00pm on Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for NI Water operations.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via B0090 Upper Road, C0111 Woodburn Road, B0058 Woodburn Road, B0058 Ellis Street, B0058 Minorca Place, B0058 Davys Street, A0002 Belfast Road, A0002 Shore Road, C0034 Jordanstown Road, C0035 Monkstown Road, and B0090 Old Carrick Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Prospect Street, Carrickfergus
There will be a lane closure from 25m southwest of the junction with Victoria Street to 50m southwest of the junction with Victoria Street from 8:00am until 6:00pm on Friday, October 23.
The closure is required for NIE substation maintenance.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.

There will be a lane closure from Old Shore Road to 30 Trooperslane Road from 7:00pm until 11:00pm on Thursday, October 22.
The closure is required for NI Water to replace manhole cover and frame.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Copperwood Drive, Carrickfergus
There will be a lane closure from 5m from the Copperwood Drive junction to 25m from the Copperwood Drive junction from 8:00am until 6:00pm on Monday, October 19.
The closure is required for a new gas connection.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Meadow Hill, Carrickfergus
There will be a lane closure from 160m from the junction of Meadowhill Close to 180m from the junction of Meadowhill Close from 8:00am until 6:00pm on Monday, October 19.
The closure is required for a new gas connection.

There will be a road closure from Kilroot Business Park to Quay Lane until Friday, October 30.
The closure is required for resurfacing for DFI Roads.
