Ballymena roadworks this week
Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Ballymena area this week.
Glenravel Road, Ballymena
There will be a lane closure from Dunaghy Wood to 250m past the Mary Queen Of Peace site between 7:00am - 6:00pm until Tuesday, October 20.
The closure is required for works for Mary Queen Of Peace, Martinstown.
Traffic management will only be erected when required to complete the remaining works (kerbing and drainage).
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Cullybackey Road, Ballymena
There will be a lane closure from a point 50m west of North Road to a point 150m west of North Road between 9:30am and 2pm on Wednesday, October 21.
The closure is required for NI Water operations.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
North Road, Ballymena
There will be a lane closure from the Cullybackey Road roundabout to Linenhall Street, 7:00pm to 6:00am from Monday, October 19 until Tuesday, October 20.
The closure is required for resurfacing for DFI Roads.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Lisnevenagh Road, Ballymena
There will be a lane closure from Antrim Road to Lisnavenagh Road between 6:00am and 12:00pm on Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for grass cutting work for the local council.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Galgorm Road, Ballymena
There will be a road closure from Waveney Road to Leighinmohr Avenue between 10:00pm and 6:00am from Sunday, October 25 until Thursday, October 29.
The closure is required for railway bridge maintenance.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via A0042 Galgorm Road, C0047 Sourhill Road, C0047 Tullygarley Road, B0018 Tullygarley Road, B0018 Toome Road, A0523 Queen Street, A0523 Railway Street, and A0523 Waveney Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Tullygarley Road, Ballymena
There will be a lane Closure from Rosses Avenue to Dans Road from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Wednesday, October 21.
The closure is required for tree cutting works.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Galgorm Street, Ballymena
There will be a continuous lane closure from outside 12 North Street between 9:30am and 5:30pm from Tuesday, October 20 until Friday, October 23.
The closure is required for the installation of new gas service to 12 North Street.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Ballee Road East, Ballymena
There will be a road closure from the Larne Road roundabout to the Seven Towers roundabout from 11:00pm on Friday, October 23 until 6:00pm on Saturday, October 24.
The closure is required for a DFI road maintenance scheme.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via A0026 Lisnevenagh Road, A0523 Antrim Road, U2225 Wakehurst Road, U2211 Larne Road, U2212 Larne Road, A0026 Larne Road Link, A0026 Pennybridge Roundabout, A0026 Larne Road Roundabout, and A0026 Larne Road.
