Extra date added for ‘Chatty Man’ at Forum

THE Millennium Forum has just announced that the hugely popular comedian, Alan Carr, has added an extra date to his Londonderry visit and will now also perform at the cityside venue on Thursday, June 30. Tickets for the extra show are on sale from the Forum’s Box Office and are priced at £25.50.

‘Chatty Man’ Carr’s gig on Friday, July 1 has already sold out and it is expected that tickets for the extra show will be in huge demand from local comedy fans. Both shows are being billed as special ‘warm-up’ gigs ahead of his forthcoming UK / Ireland arena tour.

David McLaughlin, Millennium Forum Chief Executive commented: “We are delighted to welcome Alan Carr to our venue for his much anticipated return. He performed to sell-out audiences when he visited in 2007 and it’s no surprise that his return visit this year will see him play to full-houses once again. Comedy is a strong feature in our brand new May - August season, with some of the best on the current scene gracing our stage including Ed Byrne and Tommy Tiernan. I would strongly advise everyone to book their tickets early for this extra show as we expect a high demand for this popular and much-loved comedian.” Co-star of Channel 4’s ‘Friday Night Project’ and ‘Chatty Man’, Alan Carr is one of the brightest comedy talents in the UK.
