Face slap incident
AN incident at a Magherafelt nightclub in which a young woman was slapped in the face was recalled at the local Magistrates Court.
Kirsty Alywn Parke (21), of Shore Road, Ballyronan, admitted two charges of assaulting Stacey Lee Henry in the nightclub and at Rainey Street car park on October 16 last year.
A defence lawyer said there had been “on going difficulties” between the parties but there had been no recurrence since the incident.
Imposting a Conditional Discharge for two years, District Judge Des Perry warned the defendant to stay out of trouble.
