Jones shows charity support

He said: “UKIP continues to support the campaign of the Buddy Bear Trust to make a lifetime of difference to children with cerebral palsy.

“We have seen the real difference the intensive and dedicated work of Ms Ildiko Veres, the Principal trained in the world famous Peto Institute has had on the lives of children and the joy and hope she has given to parents.

“I have known Brendan McConville former Education Officer with the SELB for over 30 years from the days when I served as Governor of local schools.

“My party supports his campaign to raise the needs of children with cerebral palsy with the Executive as the school must be funded by central Government.”

Mr Jones drew attention to the good work the charity do in the community.

“We have all heard about the wish Maeve’s mother made that her daughter (pictured) would be able to walk out of the school in her first Communion dress,” he said.

“Her mum was given no hope but Maeve is now able to sit alone to play at the Dolls house or the Touch screen computer and tried every day to walk.

“My party and I will do our best to make the wish come true for Maeve and Ella and Jack, Cara, Chloe and the other 20.

“We wish to ensure these children receive the very best start in life.

“We are concerned by delays within the Education and Health service and will work to ensure changes take place.

“After all it is the least we can do.”
