Members also recently met with members from other affiliated groups to show their support to the local community to help save Broughshane police station.

The club was proud to take part in the YFCU “Big Spring Clean” seeing many members out on the streets of Broughshane lifting rubbish, brushing down barrels ready for painting and helping paint fences etc.

Thanks have been extended by the club to everyone who attended their annual church service which was held in 1st Broughshane church and raised £140 for the Northern Ireland Cancer Fund For Children.

The club has been invited to go down to Newcastle to see what their money is being put to use and have also been asked to take part in the obel abseil which is abseiling of the tallest building in Northern Ireland. The club has many plans for a busy summer and is currently organizing their two way club exchange with Lancashire YFC which is a great opportunity for members in both clubs to see the way other clubs from other places operate.
