Magherafelt man 'one of the UK's most influential entrepreneurs'

Henry is founder of Belfast-based Peace Tech, which helps “nurture entrepreneurship and innovation” across Northern Ireland.

The S&W 100 celebrates those who help shape policy, champion, mentor, support and promote entrepreneurs and entrepreneurship in the UK.

Last year’s 100 list saw names like Sir Richard Branson, Baroness Karren Brady CBE, Baroness Martha Lane-Fox and JUST EAT CEO David Buttress recognized for their contribution to championing the entrepreneurial cause, 2017 sees this introduction of an entirely new cohort, who have also been nominated by their peers.

Peace Tech’s belief is that the key to scalable peace, is a scalable economy and they are bringing people together in Northern Ireland through innovation in technology and entrepreneurship, creating opportunity, boosting the economy ultimately resulting in a reduction of division.

Henry has helped to build JUST EAT from early startup in UK to $2.4Bn IPO, he went on to work for other leading technology companies across the world and now utilizes his experience to help start-ups scale as an advisor and mentor working with Seedcamp and PiLabs.

Henry is a regular speaker at Technology events such as National Digital Week in Cork and he has judged high profile competitions like Richard Branson’s Pitch to Rich and the Asian Apprenticeship awards.

He is also a technology journalist for Irish Tech News and has interviewed the likes of Twitter founder Biz Stone and Huawei Founder Ren Zhengfei.
