SOME opponents of the proposed multi-million pound A5 Western Transport Corridor (WTC) are so unhappy with it they lodged their disapproval twice with 2,187 objections received by Roads Service in total but only 1,854 discrete objectors.
A spokesperson for the Department of Regional Development (DRD) told the Sentinel there was shortfall in the number of objectors against the number of objections.
“The total number of objections is 2187 and the total number of objectors is 1854 (some objectors have made more than one objection),” the spokesperson said.
