A former pupil at Killicomaine Junior High School and Portadown College, Mr Pepper is no stranger to the Dickson Plan system and its ‘unrivalled educational opportunities’.
"My focus is for best possible outcomes for every child, and I am deeply passionate about ensuring young people not only achieve academically but also develop as well-rounded individuals.
"I strongly believe that education should equip young people with the skills, confidence, resilience, and character needed to succeed in all areas of life. In practice, this means striving for excellence within the classroom whilst also ensuring our young people are morally sound, respectful and are fully prepared to make a positive contribution to society.
"I look forward to working with Mr Brown, the school team and the school community because by working in partnership and fostering a culture of respect, responsibility, and ambition, we can ensure that every young person is supported and challenged to reach their full potential.
"Following 12 years of employment at Tytherington School, I return to NI with my wife Claire, and two young children Elsie and Freddie. During my 12 years working within a large comprehensive secondary school in England, I have held several leadership positions, including that of Pastoral Head of Year, Assistant Headteacher and Deputy Headteacher (Vice Principal).
"Prior to my employment at Tytherington School I completed an undergraduate degree at the University of Ulster followed by a Post Graduate Certificate in Physical Education at John Moore’s University and have recently completed a National Qualification for Headship.
"Having already experienced the warm welcome from staff and students at Tandragee JHS, it is clear that this is a school where care, courtesy and consideration are at the heart of everything we do.
"I am genuinely excited to contribute to what can only be described as a tangible culture and strong sense of community. It truly is a privilege to join such a dedicated and vibrant school community,” he said.
