Newtownabbey roadworks in the coming week
Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Newtownabbey area this week.
Church Road, Newtownabbey
There will be a continuous lane closure from the junction of Old Church Road to the junction of Longwood Road from Friday, October 23 until Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for DFI Roads surfacing.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Glenmount Road, Newtownabbey
There will be a continuous road closure from the junction of Church Road to the end of the cul-de-sac from Friday, October 23 until Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for DFI Roads surfacing.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via C0032 Church Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Main Street, Ballyclare
There will be a lane closure from OS 2 from 7:30am until 3:00pm on Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for installing a new gas connection.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Shore Road, Newtownabbey
There will be a lane closure from Dillions Avenue to Abbeyville Street from 7:00am until 12:00pm on Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for NI Water works.

The closure is required to replace manhole cover and frame

Jordanstown Road, Jordanstown
There will be a road closure from Clonvara to 100 Jordanstown Road from 7:00pm until 11:00pm on Thursday, October 22.
The closure is required to replace manhole cover and frame.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via C0034 Jordanstown Road, A0002 Shore Road, B0513 Station Road, B0059 Doagh Road, and C0035 Monkstown Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Manse Road, Newtownabbey
There will be a continuous road closure from Manse Road roundabout at Prince Charles Way to Manse Road roundabout at Ballyclare Road from 8:00am on Saturday, October 24 until 6:00pm on Sunday, November 1.
The closure is required for NIE works.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via C0032 Prince Charles Way, U0411 Burnthill Road, U0411 Carnmoney Road, A0006 Antrim Road, and A0008 Ballyclare Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Shore Road, Newtownabbey
There will be a lane closure from Glenville Road to 580 Shore Road from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Friday, October 23.
The closure is required to replace manhole cover and frame.

There will be a lane closure from 150m north of Enterprise Way to 150m south of Enterprise Way from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Wednesday October 21.
