“99.9% of children have now secured a school place for September. Open Enrolment officers will continue to support and help parents in obtaining a place for the small number of children yet to be placed.

“If a parent feels that a school has not applied, or correctly applied, its criteria in refusing their child a place, they have a right of appeal to an Independent Tribunal.

“Any parent who wishes to appeal should write, by 4.00 pm on Wednesday 13 May 2015, to: The Clerk of the Appeal Tribunal, C/o Education Authority – North Eastern Region, County Hall, 182 Galgorm Road, Ballymena, BT42 1HN.”
