Spotlight on social media sites
Organised by Craigavon Policing and Community Safety Partnership (PCSP) as part of Brownlow Festival, the event illustrated the dangers that young people can face online and how to make sure they keep safe and know how to report issues.
At the event Moyraverty Amateur Dramatics Society (MADS) performed a short play, the PSNI hosted an interactive workshop to help educate young people on how to avoid certain situations and an inspirational speaker gave further expert advice.

Hide AdAs part of the PCSP’s Consequences of Social Networking Action Plan, they are working with year 7 and 8 pupils to design a social networking calendar again this year. The calendar will highlight the dangers and pitfalls of social networking.
The pictures which will be included in the calendar will be the winners of a competition, schools can sign up by contacting 028 3831 2529.
