Top gear to Texas for Carrick's young car designers


Carrickfergus Grammar School year 13 pupils Kyle Hutton, Andrew Thompson, Chris Hogg, Crystal Milroy and Lauryn Gibb, from Endeavour Racing, competed at the Silverstone F1 circuit in the F1-In-Schools UK National Finals.
They finished as the top team from Northern Ireland and have now been invited to compete in the World Finals to be held in Texas, USA, later this year.

Hide AdCongratulating the pupils on their achievement, Carrickfergus Grammar stated: “They were awarded full marks for the professional finish of the car and the car was fourth fastest out of 30 teams which is a huge achievement and reflects the team’s hard work, determination and expertise.
