Gritting operation planned for parts of Northern Ireland with extensive fog forecast too
Motorists are advised icy conditions are expected on some roads in the west of the province overnight on Monday (November 2).
The Department for Infrastructure (DfI) says salting is planned on the main routes likely to be affected.
In a statement, DfI added: “Road users are advised to exercise caution when travelling, particularly when driving on untreated roads.

"DfI engineers will continue to monitor the weather and roads surface conditions and will action further salting if required.”
The Met Office says with clear spells expected there is a risk of rural frost and fog patches come dawn.
Forecasters are also advising mist and fog will be quite extensive at first on Tuesday before gradually burning away and leading to a sunny afternoon.
