Larne roadworks in the coming week
Road users may wish to plan their journeys in advance with roadworks programmes taking place in the Larne area this week.
Ballymena Road, Larne
There will be a continuous road closure from A8 Ballymena Road to U4029 Ballymena Road from 6:00pm on Friday, October 16 until 6:00pm on Friday, October 30.
The closure is required for clear water ducting installation.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via A0008 Ballymena Road, A0008 Harbour Highway, and U4029 Ballymena Road.
Delays of between 5-15 minutes are expected.
Ballyboley Road, Larne
There will be a lane closure from 110m from the junction of Donaghys Lane to 130m from the junction of Donaghys Lane from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Sunday, October 25.
The closure is required for a new gas connection.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Ballysnod Road, Larne
There will be a road closure from the junction of Carrickfergus and Ballysnod Road to 500m south down Ballysnod Road from 9:30am on Monday, October 19 until 4:30pm on Tuesday, October 20.
The closure is required by BT Openreach.
A diversion will be in place with an alternative route via C0073 Browndod Road, U4051 Ballyvernstown Road, and C0074 Carrickfergus Road.
Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Linn Road, Larne
There will be a lane closure from the junction of Linn Road and Fairway to 100m from the junction of Linn Road and Fairway from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Monday, October 19.
The closure is required by Phoenix Energy for defective apparatus.

Parkmount Avenue, Larne
There will be a lane closure from 40m from the Edward Avenue junction to 50m from the Edward Avenue junction from 8:00am until 6:00pm on Monday, October 19.
The closure is required for a new gas connection.

There will be a lane closure from 75m from the Portland Street junction to 95m from the Portland street junction from 9:30am until 4:30pm on Monday, October 19.

There will be a lane closure from the junction of the roundabout to 200m west of the junction of the roundabout from 9:30am until 3:30pm on Thursday, October 22.
The closure is required for M3 low speed lane closure training - no formal works taking place.

There will be a lane closure from Larne Harbour roundabout to 200m east of the junction of Larne Harbour roundabout, daily 9:30am until 3:00pm from Wednesday, October 21 until Thursday, October 22.
The closure is required for a M3 training assessment.
