BBC Sports Personality of Year tickets on sale Friday

The final remaining tickets for BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015 at The SSE Arena, Belfast, will go on sale on Friday, November 28 at 9am.

A limited number of tickets will be available, priced at £45 and restricted to six per person. Tickets can be purchased online at ssearenabelfast.com, by calling the box office on 028 9073 9074, or in person from the box office in the Arena.

The star-studded event takes place on Sunday 20 December and is live on BBC One. The night will see global sporting superstars gather in the city to reflect on what has been a terrific year of sport.

Pop sensation Ella Henderson will open this year’s show, performing with drum and bass duo Sigma and accompanied by the Ulster Orchestra.

The first wave of tickets went on sale last month and sold out in just 35 minutes.

“It’s always an amazing night and appetite for tickets for this year’s show has been extremely high.”

The contenders for the BBC Sports Personality of the Year 2015 award will be announced on The One Show at 7pm Monday, November 30 on BBC One.
