Milk Cup: Wednesday’s action in the borough

Another busy day of Milk Cup football lies in store in the Ballymena borough on Wednesday.

With teams battling to secure places in the knockout stages of the main competitions, as well as finalise positions in the subsidiary events, the action is sure to be red-hot.

Among the games taking place locally will be County Antrim’s Junior clash with Ipswich Town, with Ballymena boys CHris SImpson, Eamon Fyfe and Josh Corry hoping to be involved for Antrim.

BALLYMENA SHOWGROUNDS

CSKA Moscow v SC Corinthians (Premier section, 8pm).

BROUGHSHANE

County Fermanagh v Strikers FC South Coast (Junior, 12 noon); Club America de Mexico v Otago United (Premier, 3.30pm).

CLOUGH

County Antrim v Ipswich Town (Junior, 1.30pm).

The draw for the various knockout tournaments will be determined on Wednesday night and full fixtures for the Ballymena area will appear on this website on Thursday.
